We press shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses and other garments, plus household items such as bedding and table linen, to a professional finish. Ironing is charged in a way that reflects your load and time spent - see our price list for current rates, minimums, and any options such as pickup or delivery where we offer them.

Ironing works well alongside wash dry fold (we wash and fold, you add pressing) or dry cleaning for items that need solvent cleaning rather than a home-style wash.

Staypress began as an ironing service in 1988, so finishing is part of our DNA. Today we offer ironing alongside our full laundry range at branches in Musselburgh and Dalkeith, with the same focus on fair pricing and a friendly, local service.

To use our ironing service:

1. Check the price list for rates, minimums and any service options.
2. Bring your items to either branch during opening hours.
3. We confirm your order, agree collection time, and note any special instructions.
4. Collect your pressed items and pay in branch as usual.

For large or delicate items, or if you need everything back for a specific date, tell us when you drop off so we can set expectations and price fairly.
